Position Summary:

The firm seeks a motivated and experienced administrative and human resources assistant to join our fast-growing Myanmar office.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform a wide variety of administrative, human resources, and secretarial duties, primarily supporting legal advisors and Director.
  • Open new files, request conflict of interest check within firm systems, conduct timesheets, maintain all client and general files, and maintain mailing lists and other internal records
  • Schedule appointments for advisors and Director, maintain calendars and deadline reminder systems, and make occasional travel arrangements.
  • Prepare occasional correspondence, memoranda, and other documents from written and oral drafts. 
  • Liaise with various ministries and other third parties. Occasional travel within Yangon may be required.
  • Process time sheets, payment vouchers, and other records for advisors and other senior staff.
  • Perform other essential administrative/secretarial tasks as assigned.


  • Myanmar national
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, major in English would be an advantage
  • Good command of English (a certificate of English proficiency is required)
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in human resources and secretarial work
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong service mind
  • Good translation & interpretation skills are a plus
