Jaime Casanova is a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution and litigation group. Jaime has extensive experience working in Asia and Europe on matters related to dispute resolution, energy and infrastructure, and foreign direct investment, among other areas. Together with the firm’s team of Thai litigators and foreign consultants, Jaime advises on litigation and arbitration involving a broad spectrum of high-stakes issues.
Prior to working in Thailand, Jaime spent almost four years in Yangon, Myanmar, where he advised on groundbreaking projects in the energy, infrastructure, and telecommunications sectors. Jaime obtained a Master’s Degree in Energy Law from the Instituto Superior de la Energía in Madrid, Spain, and he has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Jaime has also completed a Diplôme d’Université in International Nuclear Law at the International School of Nuclear Law. In 2005, Jaime qualified as a lawyer in Madrid, Spain.
