Michael Ramirez to Present at Joint AMCHAM and TCCC Breakfast Briefing on New Thai Class Action Legislation

AMCHAM Legal Committee and the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce

In December of this year, amendments to Thailand’s Civil Procedure Code which provide for a form of class action litigation will become effective. The introduction of class actions will likely have a fundamental impact on the Thai legal system.

To comment on these issues and more, Michael Ramirez, a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group, will speak on the topic, “Overview of Legislation Amending the Civil Procedure Code to Provide for Class Action Litigation,” at a joint breakfast briefing on the New Thai Class Action Legislation, hosted by the AMCHAM Legal Committee and the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

The breakfast briefing will take place on May 28, from 7.30 a.m. to 9.45 a.m., at the Conrad Bangkok hotel. If you would like to learn more about this event, please visit the AMCHAM website.
