Thomas J. Treutler, managing director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, will participate in two panel discussions at a conference on well-known trademarks jointly organized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and the International Trademark Association (INTA). The protection of well-known marks is a topic of growing interest in Vietnam as the country continues to integrate into the world economy and its famous brands set their sights on regional and international markets.
Thomas will moderate a panel on ensuring a healthy business environment for foreign investment, featuring representatives from world-famous brand holders including Nike and BMW. He will then join other international and Vietnamese experts in a roundtable discussion of the core issues of well-known trademark protection.
The full-day conference will be held at the Grand Tourane hotel in Da Nang on September 23.
