Tilleke & Gibbins and the National Innovation Agency, Ministry of Science and Technology, will be co-hosting the 15th IP Lunch Talk on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Suebsiri Taweepon, partner in the firm’s intellectual property group, will present on the topic of “Combating Online Infringement: Obstacles and Prospects,” and will provide insight on the following issues:

Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh, of counsel in the Tilleke & Gibbins corporate and commercial group and head of the firm’s non-contentious insurance practice, has recently been named as an advisory board member to Insurtech Asia.Insurtech Asia is a new regional insurance industry association that aims to promote innovation among stakeholders, and to share expertise on leveraging financial technology (fintech) in the insurance industry. The association operates under the concept of “Connecting Insurance, Innovation, and Community.”

Jeffrey J. Blatt, of counsel in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group and head of the firm’s technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) practice, will make a presentation on “In Tech We Trust: Securing Digital Privacy in a Global Surveillance State” at the RSA Conference 2017 Asia Pacific and Japan.
