Benchmark Litigation has announced the winners of the Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific Awards 2023, and Tilleke & Gibbins was recognized with an Impact Case of the Year award for the firm’s successful representation of Alibaba in a dispute related to intellectual property infringement allegations. The case, which was led by the firm’s intellectual property litigation team, involved defending Alibaba against claims regarding the liability of e-commerce platforms for indirect intellectual property infringement. On World IP Day, Managing IP magazine published the 2023 edition of its annual “Top 250 Women in IP” list, a publication recognizing the most accomplished female private practice IP lawyers globally. Tilleke & Gibbins is proud to share that three of its lawyers were included in this prestigious list—Darani Vachanavuttivong, managing partner of Tilleke & Gibbins; Linh Thi Mai Nguyen, a partner in the firm’s Hanoi office, and Wongrat Ratanaprayul, head of the firm’s office in Indonesia. This is the fifth year since 2016 that Darani has been recognized by the publication, the fourth consecutive year for Linh, and the first year for Wongrat.
