On February 15, 2011, four IP experts from Tilleke & Gibbins presented at the Intellectual Property for Spa & Wellness Industry Workshop hosted by the Thai Spa Association at the Imperial Queens Park Hotel, Bangkok. Organized to meet a growing demand from within the spa and wellness industry regarding IP, the event was an overwhelming success.

Nandana Indananda, Partner, and Dr. Jakkrit Kuanpoth, Of Counsel, presented on “Patent & Copyright Issues in the Spa/Wellness Industry.” Alan Adcock, Partner and Deputy Director, and Suebsiri Taweepon, Attorney-at-Law, spoke on “Trademark and Unfair Competition Issues in the Spa/Wellness Industry.”  Our lawyers teamed up with Mr. Verasak Maiwatana, Director, Intellectual Property Center, Department Intellectual Property, and Alfons Futterer, Nano Matrix International Ltd., to provide a full day of IP seminars with a spa and wellness industry focus.
