Tilleke & Gibbins, in conjunction with EuroCham Vietnam, is sponsoring a half-day workshop on intellectual property issues in Vietnam in commemoration of World Intellectual Property Day. The event, to be held on Wednesday, April 24, at the Sheraton Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, will feature keynote speakers Dr. Nguyen Nhu Quynh, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Science & Technology, and Mr. Do Khac Chien, former Deputy Director of the Copyright Office of Vietnam.

Dr. Quynh and Mr. Chien will also be joining IP experts from Tilleke & Gibbins and other law firms in roundtable discussions on the topics “New IPR Enforcement Measures in Vietnam,” “Domain and Trade Name Disputes,” and “Overlapping Rights.” Attorneys Linh Thi Mai Nguyen (Hanoi office) and Annika Svanberg (Ho Chi Minh City office) will be participating in the roundtables on behalf of Tilleke.

An additional highlight of the event will be a roadshow display of real and fake items from Tilleke & Gibbins’ world-famous Museum of Counterfeit Goods.
