Michael K. Lee, Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial in Vietnam, will be chairing a panel discussion on the “New Wave of Investment in Vietnam” at the International Financial Law Review’s second annual Southeast Asia Forum on April 23 in Singapore.

Michael’s panel will include representatives from MSD, Intel, and Asean Investment Advisors, and will cover the following topics:

• Overview of Vietnam’s new Investment Law and Enterprise Law
• New compliance issues faced by in-house counsel
• Impact on the regulatory process, market entry and expansion for foreign investors
• Comparison of the new investment regime with key jurisdictions in the region

IFLR’s Southeast Asia Forum will be attended by in-house counsel and private practice lawyers from across the region. The full-day event will be held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore, and will also feature panels on avoiding data breaches, managing cross-border disputes, and mitigating risk in M&A transactions.
