Thomas J. Treutler, managing director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, has been honored by the newspaper Phap Luat Viet Nam  (Vietnam Law) as one of “30 Shining Examples in Law” for his active contributions to the Vietnamese legal field. Thomas was the only foreign citizen receiving the honor, and one of just four lawyers.

The “30 Shining Examples” were selected in conjunction with the newspaper’s 30th anniversary of publication and were announced at a festive July 16 ceremony attended by Vietnamese dignitaries including the Minister of Justice and the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
