Anh Thi Phuong Pham, an attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Ho Chi Minh City office, will speak at an international symposium on “Product Safety and Product Liability Laws in ASEAN” sponsored by Chulalongkorn University’s ASEAN Studies Centre and organized by Professor Sakda Thanitcul, former Dean of Law at the university.

Phuong Anh, who serves as a lecturer on product liability law at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and has published several papers on the topic, will summarize Vietnam’s current laws on product liability and product safety and talk about recent developments in the area.

The two-day conference will be held from July 28 to 29 at the Department of International Trade Promotion within Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce in Bangkok, Thailand. It will feature keynote speakers and country reporters, including university professors and lawyers from leading law firms across nine ASEAN member states.
