On March 26, Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh, a partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial department and head of the firm’s non-contentious insurance practice, will provide an overview of the economic and insurance regulatory landscape in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam (CLMV) at an insurance industry training course at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok.
The course is delivered by several high-level insurance industry speakers, including academics, executives, and experts from around the world. In addition to an overview of the CLMV economies and insurance sectors, speakers will also cover the strategic insurance value chain, InsurTech industry trends and impact, strategic management perspectives and execution, and success management strategies for insurers in CLMV. The course will provide up-to-date knowledge and skills that foster professional development and career advancement in terms of taking higher responsibility, executing high impact business operations, and increasing growth through customer services.
The five-day event, entitled “CLMV Professional Development in Insurance,” takes place from March 26-30 and has been jointly organized by Thaire Services Co., Ltd. and the Asian Institute of Technology. The course is intended to provide an extensive grounding in the insurance business in the emerging economies of mainland Southeast Asia, and is aimed at mid-level management at insurance, brokerage, and reinsurance companies that wish to do business in the region.
