Thomas J. Treutler, partner and managing director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, was quoted extensively in an article by World Trademark Review on the recently signed EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

In the article, Thomas outlined some of the most notable intellectual property-related changes ushered in by the EVTA (for more details, please see our previous story) and also shared, “With the signing of the EVFTA, following its accession to the CPTPP in January, Vietnam has taken another big step toward reaching a true ‘international standard’ for IP protection.”
