Members of Tilleke & Gibbins’ technology team in Vietnam, headed by Waewpen Piemwichai, contributed the Vietnam chapter of the recently published Data Protection Laws of the World (10th Edition), a widely consulted handbook to privacy and data protection laws across more than 100 different jurisdictions.

Compiled by leading international law firm DLA Piper, the handbook covers a wide range of topics for each of the subject countries, including a summary of local legislation and requirements on data collection and processing, breach notification, electronic marketing, and online privacy.

Data Protection Laws of the World is presented in a convenient interactive format at DLA Piper’s online hub, allowing easy side-by-side comparisons between jurisdictions. Individual country chapters and the complete handbook are also available for free download.
