Lan Thi Mai Trinh is an experienced patent executive with T&G Law Firm LLC (TGVN), a licensed law firm and IP agent that partners with Tilleke & Gibbins for local filings in Vietnam. Her capabilities span the entire patent field, from consulting with clients and managing cases, to drafting patent specifications, to translating specifications into Vietnamese, to interviewing examiners of the NOIP to accelerate the examination process.

Prior to joining TGVN, Lan spent more than 12 years in the patent and utility solution department of a large local law firm, where she managed over 300 patent cases in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical, mechanical, and automotive fields. To date, after 11 years working for TGVN, she has handled nearly 1,000 patent cases. Lan holds a BS in chemistry from Hanoi University and an LLB from Hanoi Law University. She is also a licensed patent agent in Vietnam and holds a SEAD course certificate (for drafting patent specifications) from Federation Internationale des Conseils en Propriete Industrielle.
