Van Vu Le is a patent translator specializing in mechanical and electrical patents with T&G Law Firm LLC (TGVN), a licensed law firm and IP agent that partners with Tilleke & Gibbins for local filings in Vietnam. Van has assisted world-leading companies across a range of industry sectors, from consumer electronics to heavy industry, with all aspects of their patent and industrial design matters in Vietnam, including translation of complicated patent specifications. He has successfully prosecuted more than 100 patent applications from filing to grant in Vietnam, and also has experience managing patent and design filings in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
Van has a strong technical and scientific background, having earned an engineer’s degree in nuclear engineering from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and has completed a SEAD (South East Asian Drafting) Course. Before joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Van spent seven years with one of Vietnam’s top local patent firms.
