Binh Thanh Vu is the Director of T&G Law Firm LLC (TGVN), a licensed law firm and IP agent that partners with Tilleke & Gibbins for local filings and litigation in Vietnam. Binh oversees the day-to-day IP filing activities of TGVN and assists in litigation cases when IP disputes go to court. With over 20 years of experience in HR management, she also lends a valued hand to our corporate team when clients need assistance with employment matters such as office closures and complex termination cases.
Over more than two decades of practice, Binh has gained significant practical experience in working with the governmental authorities of Vietnam in complicated and sensitive cases. She is a member of the Hanoi Bar Association and has done pro bono work in criminal cases for underprivileged youth in Binh Phuoc province.
- Manage over 1,000 patent and trademark filings with the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam per year.
- Advised several companies on labor disputes over wrongful terminations, saving our clients hundreds of thousands of dollars and recovering company assets.
- Advised and represented a well-known elevator manufacturer in a dispute over elevators installed in a building in Ho Chi Minh City.
- Provide regular advice to foreign companies doing business in Vietnam on compliance and best practices for labor/human resources.
- Assist multinational companies across a wide range of industry sectors with investigations into white-collar crimes and negotiating mutual termination agreements with employees.
