Linh Thuy Bui is a patent executive in the firm’s Hanoi office. With more than 10 years of experience in the patent space, she has prosecuted more than 400 patent applications in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, primarily in the areas of biology, biopharmaceuticals, biochemistry, and chemistry. Linh assists clients in all aspects of patent prosecution from pre-filing to granting, preparing documents, translating descriptions, claims, abstracts, and drawings, and reviewing patent specifications. She also regularly advises clients on the transfer and assignment of patent applications to ensure conformity with Vietnam’s law and practice.
Linh holds degrees in law and biology, and also earned a Certificate of Drafting Patent Specifications from WIPO and the IP Office of Vietnam, and a Certificate of Advanced Training Course on Intellectual Property from the IP Office of Vietnam and the Ho Chi Minh City Law University.
