Alisa Koovimol is a consultant and patent agent in the intellectual property department of Tilleke & Gibbins in Bangkok. She specializes in patent and petty patent prosecution and registration in Thailand and overseas jurisdictions, focusing especially on chemical and petrochemical technologies. She assists domestic and international clients in drafting, reviewing, and filing patent and petty patent applications, responding to office actions, registering patents and petty patents, and conducting patent searches, patentability assessments, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Alisa worked in the intellectual property management division of a leading Thai petroleum and petrochemical company, where she was responsible for registering patents and petty patents, conducting patent searches and analyses, offering guidance on patent-related matters, and managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio.
Alisa holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London as well as an MSc in polymer science and a BSc in chemistry from Chulalongkorn University.
- Prepared, reviewed, and drafted patent and petty patent specifications, filed patent applications in Thailand and overseas jurisdictions, and followed up on the progress of patent and petty patent applications, publication, and registrations
