Annisa Syaharani is an intellectual property and regulatory affairs coordinator in Tilleke & Gibbins’ office in Indonesia, where she handles trademark prosecution and provides a wide range of regulatory advice. In trademark prosecution, Annisa assists clients with all stages of the trademark registration process, from conducting trademark searches and checking the availability of the mark for the intended goods or services sought to be protected to finally registering the trademark with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP). In relation to regulatory affairs matters, she also arranges consultations with relevant government bodies, such as the Indonesian FDA (BPOM), the National Standards Agency (BSN), and others.
Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins, she was an intern in the firm’s Indonesia IP team and at the Corruption Division of the Attorney General’s Office of Indonesia. Annisa graduated with an LLB from Universitas Indonesia, specializing in economic and technology law.
