Thanyakorn Watlaiad is an associate in the Intellectual Property department at Tilleke & Gibbins’ head office in Bangkok, where she assists clients on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including the preparation, filing, amendment, disclaimer, and renewal of trademark applications. She is a versatile practitioner who works with domestic, regional, and multinational companies to optimize their intellectual property, while also conducting market surveys and consulting with Thailand’s Department of Intellectual Property on behalf of clients.

In addition to her activities helping brand owners secure their valuable trademark rights, Thanyakorn helps her clients commercialize their valuable intellectual assets, often relying on her expertise in various legal areas, including energy, foreign investors, tax, and other practices. Her strong research and analysis skills further enable her to provide clients with innovative and well-informed advice on potential business strategies associated with intellectual property.

Thanyakorn holds an LLB from Chulalongkorn University, where she specialized in business and taxation law.
