“Breach” and “Remedy” of Contracts in Thailand

Michael Ramirez, a counsel in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution department, has contributed an article to a series on harmonizing contractual clauses in Asia from the Asian Business Law Institute.

The article gives an overview of how contractual breaches and remedies are treated under Thai law. These insights will be especially valuable to businesses and other parties that have entered into contracts under Thai law and are at risk of falling into a contract dispute.

ABLI, which is based in Singapore, conducts legal research and dissemination in order to provide knowledge, guidance, and recommendations surrounding development of legal systems in Asia.
