On April 22, Cynthia M. Pornavalai, a partner in the firm’s corporate and commercial group, will lead a legal and compliance webinar for startup entrepreneurs and developers as part of Plug and Play’s Thailand Accelerator Program. In her session, Cynthia will provide insight into a number of areas in Thailand’s legal landscape, including the legal and compliance considerations of company setup, accounting and tax planning, incentives for startups, and how to avoid some potential pitfalls faced by new and prospective startups in Thailand. The webinar will be followed by a live Q&A session to address specific questions from entrepreneurs as they aim to launch or expand their business operations.
Cynthia was invited by Plug and Play to be the topic expert for the legal and compliance workshop of their Thailand Accelerator Program for their inaugural batch of Thai entrpreneurs following Plug and Play’s launch of operations in Bangkok in 2019.
