David Lyman Speaks at DNP and USAID Event to Combat Wildlife Trafficking

On September 14, David Lyman, chairman and chief values officer at Tilleke & Gibbins, gave a speech at the 4th Regional Dialogue on Combating Trafficking of Wild Fauna and Flora, organized by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) and USAID Wildlife Asia.

During his speech, David pledged his support to WildAid’s “I am Ivory Free” campaign, in which business leaders and other influential figures pledge to never buy, own or accept ivory as gifts. The campaign seeks to engage the public through social media to combat the global ivory trade, and promote a societal acknowledgement that ivory belongs only to elephants.

Full details of the campaign can be found at www.ivoryfreethai.org.
