Euromoney Nominates Tilleke & Gibbins for Asia Women in Business Law Awards

Tilleke & Gibbins has been recognized for its commitment to the advancement of women in the legal profession, as the firm has been nominated in two categories at the Euromoney Legal Media Group’s inaugural Asia Women in Business Law Awards. Recognizing her individual achievements, Darani Vachanavuttivong has been nominated as a leading practitioner in Asia in the “IP Litigation” category. In the Firm of the Year section, Tilleke & Gibbins has been included among an elite group of firms competing in the “Best Firm in Talent Management” category. This nomination recognizes the firm’s ability to attract and retain the highest level of female talent among its attorneys and administrative team.

The nominations were based upon research by Euromoney Legal Media Group, with firms being judged on several factors, including their commitment to gender diversity, talent management, and female leadership. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on December 8, 2011, at the Jockey Club in Hong Kong. The dinner will include keynote addresses by Anne Chen, President of the Hong Kong Federation of Women Lawyers, and Christine Wong, Head of Legal Services and Chief Counsel at HKEx.
