The third edition of International Employment Law (Release 4, 2015), published by the Center for International Legal Studies, provides an overview of employment law in 42 jurisdictions around the world. The Thailand chapter of the guide, authored by Pimvimol (June) Vipamaneerut, partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group, discusses terms and conditions of employment, discrimination, collective bargaining and worker participation in management, health and safety protection in the workplace, workers’ compensation and survivors’ benefits, dispute resolution, termination of employment, retirement, social security and health care, old-age pensions, and social costs—all within the context of Thailand’s Civil and Commercial Code, Labor Protection Act, and other legislation.
