Lex Mundi Global Arbitration Guide—Thailand Report

Lex Mundi Global Arbitration Guide

Lex Mundi, the world’s largest law firm network, recently released its Global Arbitration Guide —a detailed interactive guide to arbitral institutions in 45 jurisdictions worldwide, provided by Lex Mundi member firms in each country. Jurisdictions are separated into individual reports that cover everything from structure and organization to procedures and regulations, registration fees to processes around arbitral awards, and everything in between; allowing readers to compare and contrast arbitral institutions across jurisdictions efficiently and effectively.

John Frangos, a foreign consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group, contributed the Thailand report for the guide, which provides useful insight into Thailand’s three arbitral institutions: the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI), the Thai Commercial Arbitration Committee of the Board of Trade of Thailand (TCAC), and the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC). Each institution has its own unique set of rules and procedures, and it is important for anyone seeking arbitrate in Thailand to be aware of the key differences between them before choosing their arbitral chamber.

The in-depth Thailand report provides useful information on these institutional rules and much more. To view the full Thailand report, please download the PDF below.
