Loc Xuan Le to Speak on Trademark Infringement at APEC Workshop

On August 24, attorney Loc Xuan Le will join a panel discussion on the “Impact of Trademark Infringement on Brand Owners, Consumers, and Economies” at a workshop in Ho Chi Minh City organized under the auspices of APEC by the USPTO Global Intellectual Property Academy and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Loc will be joined by trademark and customs experts from the United States, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Chile, and other APEC members at the full-day workshop, which carries the theme of “Trademark Infringement Determinations in a Border Enforcement Context.” The workshop is part of a series of APEC meetings being held in Vietnam throughout the year, culminating in the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in November.

Loc heads the IP enforcement efforts and is a principal of TGVN, Tilleke & Gibbins’ associate firm for local IP filings in Vietnam.
