Museum of Counterfeit Goods to Be Featured on Local TV Programs on July 10 and July 12

Channel 7 and GMM Grammy

Home to more than 4,000 infringing trademark, patent, and copyright goods, Tilleke & Gibbins’ Museum of Counterfeit Goods is a fascinating educational hub, attracting more than 2,000 visitors each year.

To raise awareness about the dangerous effects of counterfeit products, representatives from two local television programs—Buabucha Pa-Tiew, produced by Channel 7, and Proteen, produced by GMM Grammy—paid a visit to our museum and interviewed two of our intellectual property lawyers.

On Friday, July 10, at 11.45 a.m., our museum will be included in a segment on Buabucha Pa-Tiew  as part of its weekly midday news. The program will showcase the museum through the eyes of the host, Buabucha Punnanan. She will interview Suebsiri Taweepon, an attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property department, who will talk about the history of our museum and the counterfeiting situation in Thailand.

On Sunday, July 12, at 12 noon, the museum will be featured on Proteen, a variety show that caters to teenagers, on Channel GMM 25. Wiramrudee (Pink) Mokkhavesa, an attorney-at-law in the firm’s IP group in Bangkok, will be interviewed by the show’s famous hosts, Dj Beau-Thanakorn Chinnakul and Victor Sushawit. During the interview, Wiramrudee will join the hosts in a variety of games, such as “Fake or Real Quiz” and “Can You Spot the Difference.”
