The Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods has been featured in the latest issue of Tropical magazine. James Evans, a consultant with the firm’s IP group, was interviewed for the article. James described the presence of counterfeit goods as a “middle-class” problem, while also citing Thailand as the second-largest source of counterfeit goods worldwide. The article states that counterfeit goods represent “USD 600 billion in losses” and “the loss of over 100,000 jobs in Europe yearly.”
The profile, written by Lynette Lee Corporal, was part of an article entitled “Museum Hopping with a Twist,” which presented several museums that offer new and offbeat perspectives to visitors.
