Thomas Treutler to Speak at U.S.-Vietnam Workshop on “IP Enforcement in a Digital World”

Thomas J. Treutler, partner and managing director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, will moderate a panel and provide closing remarks at a workshop on “Intellectual Property Enforcement in a Digital World” on March 12 in Hanoi. The event is a collaborative effort between the American Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Justice, and Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology.

The event will feature opening remarks from the Hon. Daniel J. Kritenbrink, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, and His Excellency Tran Van Tung, Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, followed by panel discussions on digital content enforcement challenges, online infringement of goods, and international best practices. Among the scheduled panelists are representatives from the Motion Picture Association of America, Qualcomm, and the U.S. Patent & Trade Office.
