Tilleke & Gibbins to Present on Employing Foreign Workers at AMCHAM Event

Employing foreign workers can be a complex endeavor for both local and multinational firms in Thailand. Many laws and regulations govern the hiring and employment of foreign workers, and the consequences for noncompliance can be stiff.

To help employers find practical solutions to these challenges, Kobkit Thienpreecha, Attorney-at-Law at Tilleke & Gibbins, will present at the American Chamber of Commerce’s annual Labor Environment Update event on February 9. The presentation will look at the key aspects of employing foreign workers, including:

  • Requirements for employing non-Thais
  • Penalties for noncompliance
  • Impact of the ASEAN Economic Community integration on labor law
