On August 13, 2019, Tilleke & Gibbins will host a reception for the Thailand launch of the ASEAN LegalTech Association (ALT). ALT provides a platform to connect LegalTech startups, law firms, corporate legal departments, academics, and regulators to promote and build the LegalTech ecosystem in Southeast Asia. On August 16, 2019, Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh, partner and deputy director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group, will speak at a training event organized by Thailand’s National Innovation Agency (NIA)—a government body that supports innovation in the country to promote economic development and give companies a competitive edge in the marketplace.

In recognition of Tilleke & Gibbins’ pro bono practice, our firm has been nominated as “2019 Domestic Law Firm of the Year” at this year’s TrustLaw Awards. Our nomination in this category is based on our commitment to supporting pro bono projects through the TrustLaw Foundation over the past year, and is particularly distinctive as Tilleke & Gibbins is one of just three firms in the world, and the only firm in the Asia-Pacific region, under consideration for this award.
