Tilleke & Gibbins has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Thai Fintech Association (TFTA), a technology startup accelerator chaired by Korn Chatikavanij, the former finance minister of Thailand, and comprised of over 100 members, including tech startups, the research and development arms of multibillion-dollar companies, venture capital firms, and major Thai banks.
Thomas J. Treutler, partner and managing director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, will moderate a panel and provide closing remarks at a workshop on “Intellectual Property Enforcement in a Digital World” on March 12 in Hanoi. The event is a collaborative effort between the American Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Justice, and Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology.
On March 15, Jay Cohen, partner and director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Cambodia office, and Dino Santaniello, head of the firm’s Laos office, will be speaking at a special event under the theme of “Business Opportunities for American Products and Services in Cambodia and Laos,” organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Thailand and the U.S. Commercial Service Bangkok.
