POSITION SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities

  • Update data, files, and other related information on trademarks and patents.
  • Prepare trademark and patent applications and other relevant documents.
  • Prepare reports of trademark and patent specifications and applications for clients.
  • Follow up with Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights on trademark and patent applications.
  • Prepare translation of patent forms, official receipts, certificates, office actions, and publications.
  • Arrange for legalization of Power of Attorney.
  • Operate document filing systems.
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.

Specification

Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in document filing systems and/or handling legal and/or administrative matters preferred.
  • Familiarity with TRADOS system is an advantage.

  • Communication skills – have good written and spoken skills in both Indonesian and English.
  • Organizational skills – be able to effectively manage multiple assignments and prioritize work.
  • Negotiation skills – be able to negotiate with clients and reach an agreement effectively.

  • Problem-solving skills – have excellent judgment and ability to react with appropriate level of urgency to situations that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Technological Proficiency – be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint) and be willing to learn new computer programs.
  • Other relevant qualities – detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, can-do attitude.
