Lex Mundi Anticorruption Compliance Guide—Thailand Report

Lex Mundi

Tilleke & Gibbins, the Lex Mundi member firm for Thailand, has contributed the Thailand chapter to Lex Mundi’s Anticorruption Compliance Guide —a comprehensive guide to anti-bribery and corruption law in 78 jurisdictions around the world, as submitted by local professionals from a Lex Mundi member firm in each respective jurisdiction.

John Frangos and Chitchai Punsan, a foreign consultant and attorney-at-law respectively in the firm’s dispute resolution group, contributed their local understanding of anti-bribery and corruption legislation for the Thailand report, which goes into great detail about the plethora of laws that cover this hot topic, including the Act on Offenses Relating to the Submission of Bids to State Agencies B.E. 2542 (1999) and the Act Supplementing the Constitution Relating to the Prevention and Suppression of Corruption B.E. 2561 (2018).

In addition to contributing the Thailand report for the guide, Tilleke & Gibbins’ legal professionals also supplied responses for the reports covering Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Jurisdictions are dived into individual reports, and feature a comparison tool that allows readers to easily compare and contrast anticorruption compliance controls around the world.
